
TTA is has been serving the Grand Traverse Region Since 1973. Laura M. Dagwell, C.P.A. purchased the practice in 1994, with her husband Jim joining TTA in 1999. Partnering with clients through the utilization of technology and making our clients' lives easier has led to significant growth at TTA. TTA has embraced technology from the beginning.
We became the area's first Federal Tax Return electronic filer in the early eighties, and purchased the area's first accounting computer mainframe system to key and print tax returns. At that time, tax practices from five neighboring counties came to TTA to have tax returns keyed, printed on the massive mainframe, then meticulously collated by hand by TTA staff. This revolution marked the beginning of the end of manual tax return and accounting form preparation.
Today, TTA is a leader in online accounting, payroll and tax systems for a paperless office environment. As technology continues to evolve, TTA is evolving with it to ensure that we stay on the leading edge of our profession.
