Laura M. Dagwell, CPA, Principal – Laura earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters Degree in Business from Western Michigan University, and a Teaching Certificate from Eastern Michigan University. She passed the CPA exam on her first try, a task that only 7% of exam takers accomplish. With 25 years of accounting experience, Laura assists businesses with start-up consultation, growth planning, and strategies relating to the sale of businesses. Laura enjoys literature, spending quality time with her husband Jim and TTA’s Westies, McKenzie and Brodie. She also enjoys volunteering at Interlochen Center for the Arts. laura@ttaeasy.com

Susan Thiel, Accountant – Susan has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sault Ste. Marie University. She assists businesses in strategic and growth planning. 2007 marked her 25th year at TTA. One of Susan’s specialties is Tax Preparation for Michigan Native Americans. Anne Hansen – Anne has a Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University. She specializes in individual tax preparation, payroll processing, and building new technology infrastructure. Jim Dagwell,Principal – Jim has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Western Michigan University, Majoring in Industrial Marketing, Finance & Sales. He manages TTA administration and corporate growth, sales, marketing, purchasing and billing. He also heads the Payroll Processing Department. Jim volunteers as a Chamber Ambassador with the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. He served as Co-Chair of the Ambassador program in 2007 and has been bestowed the honor of being the Ambassador of the Year 2007 in recognition of his dedicated service to assisting business growth in our community.
